Soul and tone are the main ingredients for Lou's latest collection of new songs and rhythms. Also included is a story about the loss of the beloved 1954 Fender Stratocaster!

Listen in to the sounds on: "NIGHTWALK", "WHAT YOU MEAN", "BE TRUE TO YOU", "IN A JAM", "OCCASIONAL DISCUSSION", and "EASY ONE".

Enjoy!

The latest songs and rhythm techniques are introduced in Lou's new collection of original compositions.

Modes and melodies are the theme of this newest episode!

Hear Volpe demonstrate a "stop the beat" style of melodic statement where multiple guitars and bass all play a unison line.

Enjoy.

You can feel the beat, the rhythm and the groove for sure on this latest episode. A different way to state the melody is used on Lou's newest "EVENING RUSH HOUR" where he "doubles" the solo-type lead line with 2 guitars playing in unison.

Also featured in these latest compositions are "FINEST LINE", "FREE JAM", "TIME RIVER", and a special dedication to one of Lou's good friends with "STANDING BY".

Enjoy the music!

Lou uses multiple clear-tone guitars playing the melodies to these vibrant new works.

Somewhat reminiscent, at times to the multi guitar leads of the Allman Brothers, but with a Jazz or a  Samba attitude. Some of the "heads" are harmonized for multiple guitars the way you would arrange for a saxophone or woodwind section.

We hope you like it!

This latest Jazzcast unveils Lou's most recent creations with the memory and feeling of his time with the great Herbie Hancock woven into each song. "His comping behind my solos edged me on to wonderful ideas and rhythms", Volpe says.

Hear the latest songs to come out of Studio "V":

THE NIGHT BECOMES YOU, BY THE BOULEVARD, LIGHT VIGIL, FANTASY 2 COUPE, GRATITUDE and OUT THERE AND BACK.
